About the Creator

Hi, I’m Eunnah Shin Rhodes — the maker behind Hooked on Rhodes.

What started as a creative outlet slowly became something much bigger: a way to build pieces that feel personal, bold, and beautifully handmade.

Every bag, clutch, and crochet piece in this shop is designed and handmade by me, one stitch at a time. I’m drawn to textures, earthy tones, elevated details, and designs that feel both cozy and luxe — pieces that stand out while still feeling timeless.

The name Hooked on Rhodes is a little play on words, but it also perfectly captures what this journey became for me: completely hooked on creating.

My work is heavily inspired by:

• nature and organic textures

• modern minimalism

• luxury fashion silhouettes

• slow handmade craftsmanship

• and the idea that functional pieces can still feel artistic

No mass production. No factory lines.
Just thoughtfully handmade crochet pieces created with care, patience, and a lot of late-night creativity.

You’ll probably notice a recurring theme throughout the brand: warmth, texture, and personality. I want every piece to feel like something you won’t find anywhere else.

And behind the scenes?
You’ll usually find me crocheting with boba or coffee nearby, brainstorming new designs, and being supervised by my two fluffy assistants, Bao, my Samoyed, and Bilbo, my Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain Dog, who have unofficially become the mascots of the brand (yes, BIG LOTR fan here).
